Bridge Collapse in Minneapolis

We went out this evening and came home with the boys. JL was talking to his parents and they asked if we had heard about the bridge collapse in Minneapolis. We were clueless so they told us about it. I never imagined it in my head the way it looks. The images are horrifying. It's a wonder that people have actually survived this mangled mess of what was once a bridge.
Minutes later I told JL that one of my mommy group friend lives there and I wondered if she was okay. We just got word in our group that she is indeed safe.
We were going to watch something on DVD now, but we just can't stop watching this tragedy unfold. We will pray for the families of the victims and for the survivors who will never be the same again.
