The Guy Not Taken – Book Review

Last summer my friend introduced me to the author Jennifer Weiner. I instantly fell in love with her books since they were easy to read and could take you into another world with interesting characters. A new book of hers was released this summer. Unlike the others, this was not a novel. The Guy Not Taken is a selection of short stories by Weiner.
This book was good, but not a favorite. I think what I realized while reading this book was I like novels and am not a huge fan of short stories. I enjoy getting to know characters and following them for a few hundred pages. The stories here were great and I found myself wishing for more of several of them. It was a nice read, but assisted me in knowing about my preferences for reading.
