Impromptu Baby Blessing
By TheAngelForever | November 30, 2007
LOL – This just in from NHL.
He asked JL to hold JSL. Then out of no where he said the following:
"Barukh atah Adonai Eloheinu, celebrate Shabbat baby JSL!"
If you did not know NHL now goes to a Jewish nursery school (integrated program) and they celebrate Shabbos every Friday. So he did his own take on:
"Barukh atah Adonai Eloheinu, melekh ha’olam, asher kid’shanu b’mitzvotav v’tzivanu l’hadlik ner shel Shabbat."
The above is the prayer for when you light the Shabbos candles on Friday at sundown.
Good Shabbos all!

HEY!!! It’s so good to hear from you! Thanks for signing my blog. I know I have fallen SO far behind on the group. All our babies are 6 or 7 months old now… crazy! I will check in there in the next day or so (if I haven’t been booted, I know I broke the posting rule!). Things have just been so busy here. Thanks for finding me!

Renee: Hi and welcome! Thanks to someone else on the mommy board I was able to find your new blog
It is very hard to believe that the babies are already so grown up. *sigh* You have not been kicked from the board. Everyone was asking about you and we know you are busy. . . no need to worry. Hope to hear from you again soon. Hugs to you and all of the Special Ks.
