Over a gallon and a half of Mommy Moo
By TheAngelForever | November 27, 2007
That is what I just tossed into the garbage from my freezer.
Why?
Well those 200+ ounces of milk were all pumped and frozen in May and June when JSL was not latching on. So all of that was surplus from the beginning that is no longer able to be used. That was 26 bags of milk hogging my freezer space.
Who knew it was that big in there?
*sigh*
So depressing to toss, but better than not enough.
Now I am off to take care of sick JSL. The poor little guy isn’t keeping anything in today. So it is time for more Pedialyte and pumping for Mommy.

Why is it you cannot use it? Does BM have an expiration time?

Sandra: I can not use it because everything I have read says that it is only safe to store breast milk for up to three months in a regular freezer. This milk was from mid-May and the beginning of June. . . so it was time to toss.
