I love to color. Yes, I am an adult and I love crayons, paper, coloring books, and more. When I was teaching, I used my students as an excuse to go out and get packages of markers, colored pencils, and crayons. Each year I loved seeing the perfect new boxes of items fresh for creative fun.
Now I have a secret. We have lots of crayons in the house for the kids. I also have a box that is just for me. MINE! They are all mine and I do not share with the boys. I bought them to try with NHL, but fell so much in love with them that I save them to use for my own projects. These are my precious Crayola crayons:
I love these crayons because you do not have to deal with pulling paper off them, or sharpening. They are like a marker pen with crayon inside. The best part, they have even helped me to plan out a new knitting project for the year.
So with this in mind I ask you:
Do you like to color? Are you more of a crayon, marker, or colored pencil kind of person and why?

I actually love art projects and crayons are my favorite. I also like colored pencils…depending on the project, but have never been a fan of messy markers.
Coloring is fun!! I don’t really have a preference.
I love to color with our grands for fun and also on their school projects. I prefer crayons buts we do use markers depending on the project.
I have to admit I like to color too. Crayons are my preference. There’s nothing quite so relaxing as coloring with my 2 little girls!
I haven’t colored since I was teaching. I like crayons better.

I like pencil crayons the best, but, in school I always loved pastels! I always know when they break out the pastels at my kids school:)

Come to think of it. This was not something I did as a child. I’m more of the one drawing the picture. I love putting color on it, but I’d rather draw it.

I have always loved to color (but haven’t done it in a long time). And, there’s nothing better than a brand new huge box of Crayola crayons.
I LOVE Crayons and coloring. I had such high hopes when Crayola released the twistable markers, dreams of no more lost tops, but they just weren’t good and dried out quickly. I’ll have to get some of the crayons.
I love those twisters! I actually had a set just for me, then I let Princess Nagger use them when she needed to color and they ended up scattered just like her other crayons. :)
