I love partying with friends until the wee hours of the morning. I had very kind, understanding and lenient parents. They allowed me to enjoy my college years but they were always there to guide me. At 19, I had to stay home to take care of my ill stepmother, brother and the elderly patients of my stepmother (who lived in our home -- she is a nurse who had a license to care for people like a nursing home setting). And then my stepmother's chronically ill friend and preschool son moved in with us too. I was supposed to be in college and out having fun, and instead I was taking care of a lot of ill people.
