Sorry I couldn’t help the title since NHL is sleeping now and can’t record anything like in the past.
At about 10:22 I received a call from my brother. He calmly told me that they are pretty sure M’s water broke. The doctor on (her doctor is away until some time tomorrow) told them to go into the hospital to see. We all had a feeling it would happen when her doctor was out of town, but I figured some time tomorrow when my parents were on their way back home. They have been there visiting since Thursday.
I can’t wait to hear more and see my new little niece. Will post more details later if the little princess makes her debut.
What happens for celebration when you have a girl (like a boy has a Bris in a week) anything special?
Are your parents staying now that she is in labor or do they have to head home?
Sandra: FINALLY just got another update from my father. They called at 6:00 and 7:50, I called at 8:15/9:50 and they finally called with the news at 10:20. Baby girl SGL is here!!! All I have heard is that she was 5 pounds 13 ounces – teeny compared to her daddy who was 10 pounds 3 ounces.
For girls there is a baby naming. If they were Orthodox it would be quickly (1 week like a bris), but I believe they are having it some time in November for SGL to get her Hebrew name.
Not sure if the parents are coming home. I know my mother had off from the day before Rosh Hashana until after Yom Kippur (which is this Saturday). My father was supposed to be back tomorrow, but I think he’s getting 2 baby days from his boss. I will know more later.
I can’t wait to tell NHL since he was so excited when I told him the baby was coming TODAY!
