Supplies For a Neverland Pirate Party

By TheAngelForever | May 13, 2011

When you ask your child what they would like to decorate their birthday party with, you always hope for something easy. JSL’s birthday is this weekend. He decided that he wanted his 4th birthday to be with this theme:

Disney Junior Pirate Party

The problem is that they have not marketed anything for Jake and the Neverland Pirates – yet. So, we had to improvise. We are doing a small family party with some pirate supplies for our little matey. We bought doubloons, pirate flags, gold sprinkles, and cupcake making items.

Chocolate Pirate Cupcakes

We still need to figure out the menu for the party and a few other items for the kids to do. So my question to you this week:

What is your favorite party theme that you have ever been to and why? It could have been your own birthday party, your child’s, or some other fun event.

Pssst – be sure to check out my Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides giveaway.

We did the pirate theme and had a blast with it. That was 25 years ago. Timeless! I’ve never seen gold sprinkles. Way too fun!!

That pirate theme will be so much fun! My favorite for Princess Nagger was the Dora themed party – I had a lot of fun creating map invitations and putting together a treasure hunt Dora-Style – a lot of work, but so much fun!

When I had a scavenger hunt at the mall for my daughter. We ate at the food court and the girls loved it!

    Enjoy your day!

one blogger I follow had an Alice in Wonderland themed birthday party for her little girl. It looks awesome in the pictures, and she gave away little cups and saucer as birthday favors.

My favorite party themes were the Ninja Turtles and Cinderella. They were favorites of my son and daughter. I remember being so proud of myself for the cakes I made. (Like it was all about me!) :-)

I don’t know if I have been to too many themed birthday parties that weren’t my sisters. She has done Barney…and I forget what else. They were cute!

I think my favorite birthday theme was Kiana’s 1st birthday. It was a flower/butterfly party. So girly!
