The bathroom story

The answer to the previously asked bathroom question is that at least 10 people (5 adults, a 4 year old, a 6 month old, and a 2 month old) can fit into my brother and sister-in-law’s bathroom.

Why would all of us head into the bathroom (not a master bathroom either) together?

Were we having a party? No, not quite.

We all went in to watch my new little niece S have a tub. Since we are not local all of us piled into the room to witness. As you can see from JSL’s face he was a little confused with why everyone was squishing into the room.

Here are all of the troops heading into the bathroom. Included in this nice group are of course Cousin S (taking the tub), Uncle I and Aunt M (giving the tub), Mimi (great-grandma), Nana, Papa, JSL, NHL, JL and I.

Once we all were in I noticed poor NHL wedge in between Papa and JL. Here’s what his view looked like. Do not worry, he soon was able to get up front for a nice view of the tub.

Here is a mosaic showing just how many dorks of my family members can fit into the bathroom so you can truly appreciate our style of bonding.

So that is the rest of the story that I teased about the other day. Sorry it wasn’t that thrilling, but we all thought it was pretty funny at the time. Heck it was interesting to see how JL and I were able to capture different point of view with our two cameras. I can not wait to see what my parents were able to get one theirs.

How many people can fit in the bathroom?

What is your answer to this question?

Come on give me a guess. Think about your own bathroom and figure out how many people you could stuff in there, with the door closed. Oh, and remember – lots of people can stuff in by the toilet! So post your guesses.

LOL  . . . . we now know the answer to this question at my brother and sister-in-law’s house.

Story with photos to be continued when we get back home!

Off schedule kiddies = cranky boys

Yesterday we arrived at my brother’s at about 7:30 or so. By the time my parents arrived an hour later and everyone met my new niece it was VERY late. NHL was SO overtired he couldn’t settle. He was sleeping in a room with my parents and they were all still up close to midnight.

Fast forward to way to early this morning when he was back up and roaring to go. Then add no nap today to the mix and a very late night at temple for cousin S’s baby naming. Talk about way too tired to know what to do with yourself.  The tired little guy is conked out with barely any fight at all.

Poor little JSL is a mess from his schedule being WAY off. He’s teething again and is coughing from too much saliva. He sounds like he is getting a cold, but I don’t think it is that. Now we just need to get his over tired baby self to sleep.

On that note I am off to try to get someone to sleep.

Warning to Cousin Zoe cat

No I do not expect her to read this, but still I must inform one way or another,

Warning:   We are coming soon . . . so start looking for a nice quiet hiding place where you will be away from NHL during the day. We will visit when all of the little ones are asleep and you come out to eat and play.

After lunch and packing the car we will set off for a LONG car ride to see Uncle I, Aunt M, Cousin S and Zoe too. Tomorrow night S is being named at their temple.

On that note the boys are home so we can eat and jet.

Doctor visit – take 2

JSL had a horrible night . . . as did mommy and daddy. The little guy was up crying at 12:30 and 4:30. He nursed like a champ during those times though. He never wakes up like this. I figure he was making up for barely eating all day. When he refused to nurse again this morning and was crying and clingy I called to make an appointment. At this point I just wanted him checked since he wouldn’t eat, was crying, and gurgling during the night.

He must have heard me make the appointment and was acting a lot better after that. Still he whined when nursing and wasn’t smiley.  I decided with heading out to visit my brother, sister-in-law and meeting my new two month old niece,  that I best get him checked.

JSL and I went to watch NHL and his class swim this morning. Then we went home for a few hours.  My grandmother watched NHL so I wouldn’t have to drag both boys to the doctor.

Everything looked good in the ear and his lungs were clear. We need to finish the ten days of antibiotic and hope that the nursing strike is something else. It very well could be the ear and more teeth coming. *sigh*

In a week we are back there for his 6 month well baby visit where he will once again become a human pin cushion. Do the immunizations ever end?
