My question for this week is inspired by the great VP debate:

Did you watch the VP debate last night? Did it change your view or feelings about anything? No need to go into specifics if you do not want to.

My husband and I watched the debate. We were quite interested in seeing how things would shake out with Sarah Palin and Joe Biden. My feelings about qualifications going in changed a little toward one candidate, but made no difference in the way I will vote on November 4th.

Of course while we were watching we also played Palin Bingo. We each used three cards at once to make it more interesting. These are my cards from the end of the debate:

Palin Bingo night

And at 9:47 EST I called out PALIN. . . . not long after I complained about having a miserable group of cards.

P-A-L-I-N - I won!

Thanks to TechyDad for making a fun game to play and share with everyone. Oh and we plan on making something generic for the next Presidential debate. So stay tuned!

I am still on the fence. I need some kind of sign in the next 5 weeks. I have a strong feeling who gets my vote, but I want to be 100% certain on it walking into the voting booth!

  • Tara says:

I saw most of it. I am going to watch it again in a bit with my husband! I have already made up my mind. I lean towards values, morals, and a positive change. So naturally I am rooting for McCain and Palin :)

  • cora says:

No. I did not watch it. I wish I did. But I try to view it in YouTube. Nice weekend

  • Jen says:

I watched and it really didn’t change my opinion too much, but I did think that both of them did a decent job. My only complaint with Palin was that she kept changing the subject when she didn’t know the answer to a question. I didn’t love that about her.

  • I watched half. I am watching the other half tomorrow. I found the VP debate far more lively than the prez debate. No more details.

Your bingo game made me giggle.

  • Cathi says:

Yes I watched the debate and I really like Sarah. She’s the deciding factor of who I will vote for president.

  • AmyG says:

That’s a cute bingo game, lol. I don’t think I’ve ever seen something like that before.

I watched the VP debate & it didn’t change the way I’ll vote, but I’m glad with how things turned out. I’m hoping it makes a difference, but we’ll see how the next to presidential debates go.

  • Cammi says:

    What a fun idea!

I did watch the debate and it didn’t change the way I’m going to vote, but I do have to say that I liked the way Palin handled herself.

  • Jen says:

We did watch the debate. I’m extremely pleased with how well the vp of my choice did. Very pleased. :)

    Happy Friday!

  • It was on, but I was helping my niece with some school assignments and their deadlines. Seemed like it went well though.

  • I didn’t watch. My husband was monopolizing the television. It’s one of the things I have learned to live with, as the wife of an x-box addict! ;)

  • happyathome says:

I watched it and I was thrilled with the results. Palin stood her ground, did a very good job and improved from her previous interviews. The Presidential’s are going to be boring now…..

  • I watched about fifteen minutes of it and then turned it off in disgust. My way of voting will not change. Maybe if I’d used those bingo cards I’d have kept the tv on…

  • Nancy says:

I thought Sarah Palin did much better than most expected her to do! I’m still uncertain at this point as to the voting problem – ha! The one thing that I did NOT like about Joe Biden, which I’ve heard from many others, is that smirk he kept doing all night and that silly smile – as if to make the audienence think Palin was saying something stupid – I thought it made him look stupid! November will bring new changes no matter the outcome – and our country really does need changes!

  • Kelly says:

i did watch it and it did change my views. i really wanted to be a palin fan and she really let me down. i was embarassed for her.

happy aloha friday! stop by my blog for my question!

  • sagemom says:

I did watch it…and it was very informative and at times amusing…

  • Jenni says:

I did watch it! And I loooove that bingo game! LOL!

  • Deborah says:

Cute bingo game! Great idea! No, I did not see the debates. I’m in Australia….waiting for my absentee ballot.

  • I watched some clips, we had a volleyball game last night.

I love your BINGO game. I will have to come back and get that for the next one!

  • I wasn’t able to watch it.

I like your idea of a Bingo game.

  • Anne says:

    nope i didn’t watch

  • Sandra says:

I watched and it confirmed my opinion that the VP that I will NOT choose is just as much of an idiot as I previously thought.
